1. Washing Jewelry with Liquid dish detergent

This is probably the most basic way to keep your jewelry clean. If it is gold jewelry you need to clean, then use liquid dish detergent. Pour some of it in a bowl along with some lukewarm water. Let it soak for about 20 mins. When you take it out of the solution, rinse it under warm water and voila, your gold is as good as new!

2. Cleaning using Ammonia

Cleaning jewelry with ammonia is a complete no for gold jewelry. Add a little bit of ammonia to a bowl of water and dip in your jewelry for only a few seconds. Take it out using a pair of tongs or stainer. Repeat the same procedure of rinsing it under water and make sure the jewelry is dry before wearing it again.

3. Brushing jewelry with toothpaste
